Hi,

I have done with my work before i start blogging.

Wad have i been doing this whole morning..

Finding quotation and sending additional food orders to Suntec for ICSC Asia expo.

And now i am super duper free..

I am looking forward to setting up and all.. at least i am not in office! nearly doze off

I ran errand to esplanade for storm event...

I didnt realized i did it so quickly...

TTO really come in place.. LOL.. i am still doing it now!

I did random stuff like sending documents..

Collecting tags or one of the event..

So is pretty an eventful one...

I did calling for costing again...

I did calling or maxicab, tour guides

I did PO, Courier service as well.

Today,

I did Purchase order...

I did Food ordering from Suntec for ICSC Asia event

I did printing and binding..

There is one thing i realized.. I have problem in submission...
Is so hard for me to report back what i have done.

This is bad.. because my boss got to always ask if i have done this and done..
But the fact is i have already done it long ago..
But is really hard to report back..

This is wad i need to learn!

Calling

I did calling again..

But this time round is a different feel..
I called up DJ "Rod monetior" and Stike force to engage them for some event.
The coordinating is good. i love it.

I did ppt slides again.. Actually i dun really know who is my boss.
Everyone there seems like my boss. LOL.
I am not sure who am i attached to .. I am like helping everyone in the office to do work.
I did courier service to send an important document to a lawyer firm

Today, I went for meeting to brainstorm for an event. I notice something that is different people is taken charge of different events. They are really helpful with one another.. Helping and supporting each other in organizing the event.

After the meeting, i have to call up the different bands to ask for the costing and any packages. I got to go online to search for different bands contact as well.

I got to continue contacting those hotels that haven response to the request of quotation. Ask for different things that they didnt include in the email quotation.

Mistake i did today:
i mistook the information of different hotels and send wrongly.

Today i did calling for hotels again.
Chasing after Quotation is never fun!
Serious! I called time after time to chase for quotation..

Hehehe telephone comes in is a very stressful moment for me!
LOL!ok la not really la..

I did research again. A lot of research to do!
Really... i do until my eye want to pop out! LOL
I send emails to hotels for quotation again.

Monday there is another brainstorming event. So got to crack my brain!

busy day

Today, Was busy day.

I went for meeting to brainstorm for the event that is upcoming... I think i was really afraid to voice out..
But is still an experience for me! I was very afraid my ideas wasn't working well for this. I have some ideas on mind though.

Still is an experience. a lot of research to do! tomorrow will be another meeting to confirm the theme.

I even check out available rooms for meeting at various hotels. Having this conference next year. I got to source out the different rooms and corporate packages.

Tomorrow is going to be a long day for me again!

First Day

Hi,

First day of work was ok.

I arrived half an hour early as i thought i am supposed to be reporting at 830am! LOL...
I rushed to work like as though i am late! LOL

I am been brought around the office.. As usual for first comer.
It is a very small company only.. Very cosy...
Did all the admin stuff like getting my email done and adding everyone on my msn in the company.

One thing very amazing is that.. the people there have no direct face to face communication.. They communicate through MSN! Even you are sitting next to each other.. Everything all on MSN! I am quite shock by the way they work in communicating..So dun be shock to see me online most of the time. Cause I have to be online! LOL There are pros and cons in it.

Things i did today:
1. i did the courier service. Where i got to call up the company and ask them to go collect a mail from URA and back to my company

2. I learn how to burn document into a CD! heheh which i dunno how to in the past

3. I did research on clark quay. apparently the whole day i did research and PowerPoint slides

Learning lesson:
There are certain things i learn. I think that this whole day i am fighting against my personality.. to be bold to do new things.. to put aside my shyness and just ask for WORK! To adapt to the new environment. I think i would still need sometime still. Especially answering phone.. I don;t like it at all! LOL but i got to love it!

Objectives

A new environment i need to adapt in.

What are my goals and objectives after this whole 5 months of attachment:

1. By the first month, i am able to adapt to the environment. To perform excellence work

2. by the second month, my supervisor is able to trust me and allow me to perform new and even bigger responsibilities of the events

3. by the end of the attachment, I will decide if this industry suit me the best.

I am kind of looking forward to work. apart from the pay day! hehehe i am looking forward to expereince the different events! :)

Been accepted in Festival Square Circle. It is an event company.
So looking forward to work there :)
